Feb-23-2010 By admin

Antalya is Turkey’s major and charming holiday resort in the Mediterranean region which is called the ancient Pamphylia. This is a beautiful city with endowing palm-lines alley. A superb marina is present on the Mediterranean which makes the Antalya different. This is a fascinating place in Turkey which is moreover good for natural beauty rather than anything artificial.
There are some grand and awesome historical remains that astonish the viewers. Antalya contains various waterfalls and cascades than can be felt thoroughly. The bewitching beauty of the cascades tends to captivate the tourists and thus leaves a permanent impression about the holiday.

The upper Duden waterfalls can be seen about 14 km north east of Antalya. The tourists who come here try to capture the beauty by walking rather than hiring a taxi. Feeling each step of beauty is different from just passing bye. The Duden waterfalls ultimately descend into the sea. The sounds of the waterfalls and serene atmosphere tranquilize the minds of the viewers.
The Duden waterfalls in Antalya can also be viewed from the sea. Other great waterfalls that can be noticed here are the Kursunlu Waterfalls and Nilufer Lake. Both of these beauty icons are 18 km away from Antalya which are the epitome of beauty. The Lara beach is scattered with sandy spread is the archetype of a white bed spread.

1) Have a family meeting to decide where you will go. Try to pick a destination which offers something for everyone from Dad who only wants to lie in a hammock and drink something alcoholic while listening to the games of his favorite sports team; to the teenagers who want to be any where except where their parents are; to the toddlers who are more interested in the ground level attractions like insects and discarded chewing gum, than they are in any sort of scenery.

2) When you realize no such destination exists, draw straws. Shortest straw gets to spin the family globe while blindfolded and point to a destination. If it’s in the middle of an ocean, the nearest land mass will do.

3) No matter how unlikely the selected destination is, come together in a family spirit of “making the best of it.” Being a family, after all, means growing together as a family and a bit of planning will help overcome whatever challenges lie ahead.

4) If your fated destination decrees that you will be vacationing near relatives, insist on a visit to let the kids know where they came from. If the relatives happen to be considerably older, with a home full of treasured mementos from years gone by, even better. The toddlers will have plenty with which to entertain themselves, and the teens will have plenty to ask their elders about!

When it comes to enjoying a vacation on a limited budget, it is difficult to beat the appeal of the good old camping trip. After all, it costs next to nothing to pitch your tent in the back country wilderness of your favorite state or national park. A week long camping trip can often cost less than a day or two in a big city or tourist hot spot, while giving the entire family time to bond and enjoy being together.

As a matter of fact, camping is one of the most popular family activities, and many families enjoy camping together, sharing stories around a roaring fire, roasting marshmallows, swimming, fishing and all the other great things that come with a camping trip.

For many, camping brings back memories from childhood, and many parents want to give their children a taste of what their own childhood was like, back when things were so much simpler.

Another great thing about camping is that once the initial expenses are paid, there is little in the way of ongoing expenses. Unlike a traditional vacation, in which the money you spend on that great hotel is gone for good, with camping you buy your hotel room (also known as your tent) outright, and you own it forever.
